Dedicated to the Memory of Sgt. Jeremy Foshee
Patsy Foshee is being pinned a *Gold Star Mother* by the American Legion Ladies Auxilliary.  This honor is given to mother's who have lost their son or daughter in war.

Memorial Day Services will be held at the Courthouse Square in Scottsboro, Alabama on Monday, May 27th beginning at 10:45 a.m.  If raining, it will be held at Carter Gym.  
    This year's Memorial Day Service will be dedicated to Sgt. Jeremy Foshee, who gave his life in the service of his Country.  
    A parade will be held on the square.  All veterans and Boy and Girl Scout Troops are urged to attend and participate.  
    North Jackson High School School Band will lead the parade, along with Scottsboro High School Rotc Color Guard.  
    The parade will assemble at 10:30 a.m. at the parking lot near First National Bank and begin at 10:45 a.m.  
    The ceremony at the monuments will last approximately 30 minutes.  All citizens are urged to attend to pay honor and respect to the Foshee Family and honor America.  
    General Joseph Stringham will be the principal speaker.  
    All county church choirs are invited to attend and sing "God Bless America."
